The Fayette County Public School Board considered a proposal that would ban Board members from discussing dissenting votes with the press after a Board measure passes. The policy would require Board members to “respect and support the collective decision of the Board.”

On December 3, 2025, ��ֱ�� wrote the Board explaining that this proposal violates the First Amendment.
