Erica Goldberg, FIRE's former Justice Robert H. Jackson Legal Fellow and now a Visiting Assistant Professor at Penn State University's Dickinson School of Law, has a new on the latest salvo in the battle for free association on campus, this time at Tufts University.

Writing for her blog First Amendment Prof, Erica, a Tufts alumna, reports on the by members of Tufts' student government to ban the Tufts Christian Fellowship (TCF) due to its requirement that group leaders follow "basic biblical truths of Christianity." In doing so, Tufts (whose student government had once stood up for TCF's freedom of association) has joined a long line of other and universities that have turned to "all-comers" policies in the wake of the Supreme Court's controversial 2010 decision in Christian Legal Society v. Martinez. Unfortunately, as Erica explains, and ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ has long argued, these policies "severely limit the values underlying freedom of association."
