Last night, Samantha Harris appeared on the to discuss
Christian Legal Society v. Martinez, a case before the Supreme Court of the United States concerning the University of California Hastings College of the Law's refusal to recognize the Christian Legal Society (CLS) as a registered student group.
Samantha answered questions about the Ninth Circuit's decision to allow Hastings to require all student groups to accept "all comers" as voting members and about FIRE's amicus brief in the case. As Will said in our press release last week, a decision by the Court to uphold the Ninth Circuit's ruling "would be disastrous for groups holding unpopular or minority viewpoints on campus."
