Harassment (Hostile Environment, Sex-Based Harassment): Unwelcome conduct under a University Education Program or Activity that is based on the Complainant鈥檚 actual or perceived status(es) as defined by the Policy, including specifically sex-based harassment and other forms of harassment on the basis of sex (including sex stereotypes, sex characteristics, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, and marital or parental status).
Conduct is considered 鈥渦nwelcome鈥 if the person did not request or invite it and perceives the conduct to be undesirable or offensive. Unwelcome conduct may include verbal, non-verbal, physical, or non-physical conduct.

General Sexual Harassment: Unwelcome sex-based conduct that, based on the totality of the circumstances, is subjectively and objectively offensive and is so severe or pervasive that it limits or denies a complainant鈥檚 ability to participate in or benefit from a University Education Program or Activity.
